Personal & Social Sin

Due to the individualistic lens that many western evangelical Protestants read Scripture through, sin is most commonly understood to be a personal or interpersonal issue. However, the Bible includes examples of social or communal sin where groups of people are implicated in action or inaction that misses the mark of God’s good intention for the world.
